Polvanera, top-of-production winery in Puglia, can count on 30 hectares of vineyards, of which half are cultivated with primitive, while the remaining host Aglianico grapes, Aleatico, Fiano, Falanghina and Muscat.
Polvanera wineries produce some of the best wines of Puglia, with an eye to the special primitive: there are three, in fact, produced the various versions of this fantastic wine. They range from Zaniah Polvanera, pure Primitivo, aged 9 months and 3 steel bottle, the famous 17 Primitivo Gioia del Colle DOC, with an amazing scent of wild berries, blackberries and plum flavor and a grand, elegant and austere recognized for its value with the highest scores on all the guides 2011: three glasses Gambero Rosso, 18/20 points on the Espresso guide, guide slowfood.
Among the other wines produced by Cantine Polvanera remind the Zavijava, rose wine from grapes aleatico pure, fruity, mellow and Auriga, a white 100% Falanghina grapes, fresh, intense and fruity.
